Meet The Teacher!
Mrs. Massengill
Welcome to 5th grade here at Green Elementary!
I am Mrs. Massengill and I am so excited to get to know you this year! I want to share a little bit about who I am. I grew up in a military family, so we moved often, which allowed me to live all over the United States and in Italy. I am thankful for growing up this way because I feel like it taught me to deeply appreciate different cultures and gave me a love for travel. My family now lives near Nashville, Tennessee and we try to go home as often as we can. I graduated from William Peace University in Raleigh and this is my third year teaching 5th grade here at Green. I am passionate about reading, leadership, and learning new things. My hope is that every one of my students graduates 5th grade having read one book that they love and feeling more confident in their unique talents. In my free time, I love to travel with my husband, hike through mountains, drink coffee, and read.
