Our class blog
I hope that each of you are enjoying this beautiful holiday weekend! It has been so nice to be able to go outside without sweating buckets. This past week at school was great! Our class is becoming a strong community and we are diving into content. This is going to be a challenging year for our students, but I am confident that each one of them can be successful. A couple updates, please come to Open House if you can make it! It is this Thursday (September 8) at 6 pm. We will be going over valuable information on our school and classroom. Monday folders are going out on Tuesday. Please return those emptied on Wednesday. In the future, you children will be bringing home a behavior sheet for you to sign. Early Release on Friday! We get out at 1:15. If there is any special transportation, please let me know!! Enjoy the rest of your day off and I look forward to seeing you this week! -Mrs. Massengill

Yesterday was so encouraging! It was a beautiful ribbon-cutting ceremony that highlighted the very best of our school: student leadership, a caring staff, and wonderful community support. I don't think anyone could hold back the tears! I loved being able to meet some of our terrific class! It is going to be a great year, full of learning, adventure, and laughter. I could tell that the students in our class have great personalities, are hard workers, and have great families supporting them. Thank you to all of you who were able to come and explore our BEAUTIFUL new campus! Just a heads-up: Class Dojo is up and running for our class! I will be sending home specific instructions with your child in the first week . I look forward to partnering with you this year! -Mrs. Massengill |
